A real passion for history and architecture inspire my jewelry. Thick rings, wide bracelets and forged chains connect the wearer to an ancient, romantic world.

These comfortably dangerous, slightly edgy works, stand out from the crowd with confidence. The symmetry of repeated arches, forged armor studs and intricate tracery continue a tradition used for centuries to impress. Blade forms and battlements that once protected castles now guard fingers and accent necklines.
Marble Fragment Series
Carved Marble and Sterling Silver
The Fragment Series was inspired by the relics of the ancient world. The marble column sections that have survived centuries bare witness to the durability and grandeur of the lost temples of those civilizations. These smaller marble fragments are created by Donna Veverka to allow the wearer to see and feel the power of ancient architectural relics.
The fragments of history that turn up underfoot in Rome and Sicily inspired these works. Each marble fragment is carved and shaped from a larger block - just as they were in antiquity. The solid Sterling silver mounts are fitted to each fragment, and are uniquely shaped for each design. This use of pegs, rivets and straps derives from the iron work used to support and preserve these objects in historical sites - originally made centuries in the past.
